None-too-subtle anti-Vietnam war undertones waft through writer Paul Dehn's subterranean rehash of the original, enhanced with the addition of nuclear warhead-worshipping mutant heavies.

Love this one, and love all the cheezy plot within a plot within a plot ripoffs that followed (remember all those gorgeous black and white Hammer second features?).
